GTA6 Dual Protagonists: Lucia & Jason

GTA6 confirms a dual protagonist system — a new approach following GTA5's three-protagonist setup. This time the leads are Lucia and Jason, a couple whose criminal partnership and romantic relationship form the story's core.

Lucia is the first female playable protagonist in GTA series history. Her character breaks series tradition and brings a fresh perspective and new narrative possibilities.

Players will reportedly be able to switch between Lucia and Jason, similar to GTA5's protagonist switching mechanic, but their relationship is more intimate, and the story revolves around their interactions.

The dual protagonist system means mission design will be more diverse, with each character potentially having unique skill trees and mission lines.
